Account Executive (AE) Public Relations
The successful candidate should have a professional demeanor and at least 2-3 years of prior experience (internships or professional experience) in public relations or corporate communications. The candidate must be able to handle multiple tasks and deadlines for media and clients, can work independently and within a team and problem solve effectively.
Specifically, as an integral member of the PR team, the AE will participate in various account-related public relations activities, including but not limited to research, media monitoring and outreach, event planning, vendor management and staff support. Demonstrated writing, media relations and research capabilities are necessary.
RESPONSIBILITIES: ?
*Contribute to the writing, researching and editing of pitch letters, press releases, bios, fact sheets, newsletters, program and communications plans, proposals and presentations *Media pitching and follow-up *Assist with press tours, conferences and trade show logistics ?*Compile and manage media lists *Read, identify and compile client media coverage reports *Research speaking engagements and awards *Qualify editorial calendar opportunities ?*Establish and maintain relationships with a wide array of national and local broadcast, print and online media contacts *Utilize social networking sites
The position requires someone who is creative, detailed, resourceful, organized and able to prioritize; a self-starter who possesses strong organizational, oral and written communication skills. Social Media savvy
Bachelor’s Degree in Communications/Journalism/Public Relations or English highly preferred. Knowledge of BurrellesLuce a plus.

Project Coordinator
Accountability:
Organization of the creative, production department and all creative projects.
Driving of projects throughout the agency workflow process so that they meet prescribed quality control measures, designated milestones, and end-of-project deadlines.
Primary Responsibilities:
Routing of projects through all departments for input and approvals.
Track projects through company job tracking and billing software.
Update weekly reports.
Keep creative staff informed of deadlines.
Assist creative in on-line searches for creative materials.
Prepare and pack artwork for presentation.
Send projects in progress to/from outside sources ie: proofreaders, retouchers.
Deliver final digital artwork to publications, hosts, etc.
Online banner campaigns through 3rd Party Server Platform (Halo will provide training).
Email blast assets directly to vendors/generating tracking codes.
File and organize completed job files and samples.
Maintain and organize information related to projects and campaigns.
Open projects and enter job details ensuring information is accurate.
Accurately archive online and offline projects in server.
Order messenger services and ship via courier services.
Keep studio neat and organized.
Work with Senior Project Manager to resolve any issues related to projects.
Inventory and request creative supplies.
Run occasional off-site agency errands.
Qualifications:
Experience in agency Project Management/Trafficking position.
Proficiency in MS Office including PowerPoint.
Proficiency with InDesign and Photoshop.
Detail-Oriented. Organized.
Technically-literate.
Ability to adapt to new software programs.
Studio Artist
Accountability:
Responsible for Quality control of all work for Halo and Halo’s client.
Support of the Creative team in the production of materials.
Responsibilities:
Ensure quality of materials throughout the production process.
Review, approve and sign off on completed materials including but not limited to mechanicals, final proofs and computer output.
Produce materials requested by Executive Creative Director.
Scan, retouch, correct colors, create templates, re-size and composite images using Photohop and Illustrator.
Assist Creative and Art Directors with designing materials and troubleshooting software.
Build digital mechanicals, re sizes, and templates.
Provide creative and project management team with status of
production to ensure an efficient and productive workflow.
Assist Production with the layout and production of print material.
Alert production and creative of any technical issues.
QC , Pre-flight and Prepare accurate files for release to vendors.
Release all mechanicals relevant for each project.
Maintain digital filling system, logo libraries and archive final files.
Qualifications:
Proficiency in Adobe CS4 Suite.
Photoshop, Illustrator, InDesign.
Knowledge of HTML programming is a plus.
Experience in agency setting.
Basic programming capabilities.
